What started out as a regular jam session in early 2020 between friends Emcee K Ski and Maxi Theophile Talbot quickly evolved into a fusion of blues, funk, soul, rock and hip hop. Played either as an acoustic set or full band experience, this collaboration showcases K Ski’s diverse and thought-provoking lyricism complimented by Maxi’s soulful guitar and punctuated by his powerful vocals.

Based in Vancouver BC, the duo released projects in 2021 and 2022. Since then they have rocked shows around the Metro Vancouver area, winning over crowds and building their fan base. Whether it’s iconic hip hop cyphers, local coffee houses, venues like Guilt & Co. or Dr Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden their brand of music and stage presence has undoubtedly created a buzz.
