Francis Henson Trio is Vancouver bandleader Francis Henson’s foray into the aural popular music landscape celebrating the guitar and the song. Alongside a rotating cast of the city’s best musicians, the trio plays a selection of R&B, Soul, Blues, and Jazz repertoire, paying homage to the Black American Music tradition through groove-based exploration and informed improvisations. Benjamin Millman is a pianist, producer and multi instrumentalist hailing from Vancouver BC. The son of two musicians, he’s been playing and creating in the Vancouver scene since he was a child. Specializing in a large range of genres and instruments, Benjamin’s performance credits are vast - you may have heard him leading Rnb, Funk, Pop or Jazz groups at countless Vancouver venues, or on international tours with artists such as Tiny Habits and Katie Tupper, performing to sold out crowds at arenas and music halls around the globe. Arvind Ramdas is a Vancouver-based jazz drummer who has become a vital presence in the city’s vibrant jazz community. He has performed alongside many of Vancouver’s leading musicians, including Tom Keenlyside, Steve Kaldestad, Noah Franche-Nolan, Sharon Minemoto, Brad Turner, Miles Black, Jodi Proznick & John Gross to name a few. He has also appeared as an opening act for 11-time Grammy Award–winning bassist Christian McBride.Renowned for his musical sensitivity, dynamic range, and deep sense of swing, Arvind is a sought-after collaborator on the Vancouver jazz scene. For this performance, he is joined by Cory Weeds and David Caballero—both prominent figures in Vancouver jazz—for two high-energy sets celebrating the hard bop tradition.

Alonzo Wang is a bilingual Canadian musician, singer, and songwriter who performs in English and Spanish, with over 30 years of experience in Vancouver, including his first show at The Town Pump in Gastown and growing up playing at Brothers Restaurant, owned by his father. His songs have appeared on Billboard, and he has worked with high-profile artists and producers, including Justin Bieber’s producer, Doc McKinney (The Weeknd, Starboy), and Alex Gregg (Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, M.I.A.), contributing to multiple Gold and Platinum records.
