Arvind Ramdas is a Vancouver-based jazz drummer who has become a vital presence in the city’s vibrant jazz community. He has performed alongside many of Vancouver’s leading musicians, including Tom Keenlyside, Steve Kaldestad, Noah Franche-Nolan, Sharon Minemoto, Brad Turner, Miles Black, Jodi Proznick & John Gross to name a few. He has also appeared as an opening act for 11-time Grammy Award–winning bassist Christian McBride.Renowned for his musical sensitivity, dynamic range, and deep sense of swing, Arvind is a sought-after collaborator on the Vancouver jazz scene. For this performance, he is joined by  Jazz guitar virtuoso Patrick Kao and heavyweight Dan Howard on the bass—both prominent figures in Vancouver jazz—for two high-energy sets celebrating the hard bop tradition.
